Cocoro Japanese Organic Green Tea
...for a naturally healthy lifestyle

We have created a new product line under our new brand name of Cocoro Japanese Organic Green Tea. Our product line is created with the goal of supplying authentic and safe Japanese green tea to the Australian and other international markets. Our products are created in a region of Japan called Shizuoka Prefecture, renowned as Japan's leading producer of premium grade green tea. The Cocoro product is sourced from Sugimoto Farm, a grower in the region and a pioneer in the cultivation of 100% organic green tea, not to mention a JAS Organic (Japan Agricultural Standards Organic) accredited organization. The premium quality product of Sugimoto Farm will be packaged and sold under our own brand name of Cocoro Japanese Organic Green Tea.


It is our hope and goal to deliver the magnificent flavour and aroma of our unique green tea to Australian and other international consumers, and to provide information on the positive effects of drinking natural green tea. The majority of Japanese green tea and Other countrys' green tea (often labeled as being Japanese green tea even when the tea is not sourced from Japan) available on the market, are produced with the help of agricultural chemicals and chemical contained fertilizers. In fact the majority of these teas do not comply with European Union (EU) agricultural chemical restrictions, making the export of these teas to the EU impossible in most cases. Recently, imports of green tea produced in China for the Japanese market were temporarily prohibited by the Japanese Government's Health and Welfare Ministry after the discover of soil contamination in China. We therefore have fundamental doubts about the human intake of agricultural chemical residues on regular non-organic green tea. The proper washing of regular green tea after harvesting, leaves tea void of all flavour and aroma, meaning that most green tea products cannot be properly washed for human consumption.


We have heard through various sources that green tea harvesters in Japan produce two kinds of green tea. The first of these is produced using agricultural chemicals and chemical contained fertilizers in order to maintain a high volume and stable supply of green tea for sale to the domestic market. The second kind of tea is organic green tea produced with zero chemicals for the sole consumption of green tea harvesters and their families. Our planning and intended sale of Cocoro Japanese Organic Green Tea stems from our desire to supply safe, healthy and delicious Japanese green tea to the market. By clearly labeling the "Grower & Producer" of the green tea on our product (this is not commonly displayed on the majority of green tea products available on the market) we will be able to deliver peace of mind to our customers, in the form of approval of our product from the relevant organic organizations.
